Aerial shots of Bahay Bakasyunan sa Camiguin and wedding at Old Church Ruins in Camiguin

Last week My Wedding Cinema Films teamONE shot a wedding in Camiguin. Me and my partner from Cagayan de Oro to Balingoan port then took a ferry to Camiguin Island. This was more like a #workation for us, and we so love it.

We got to Camiguin at least the day before the wedding for the preparations etc. We stayed at Medano Island resort that was generously pre-arranged and booked by our awesome couple. The resort offers accommodations in Mambajao. The resort has a barbecue facilities, terrace and sun terrace, and guests can chill at the restaurant located at the rooftop. We took a quick dip at the newly renovated swimming pool just before the grind.

Sharin’ our behind the scenes BTS click of us on the move. A few birds eye view of the wedding gig. This was probably the very 1st ‪#‎wedding‬ held and celebrated in this rustic green Old Church Ruins, Camiguin. Both the wedding preparations and reception was then held at Bahay-Bakasyunan Sa Camiguin.

This was a busy day for us. Since we do shoot, edit and play our short film highlights of the day by reception time. Just that fun part of being the visual storyteller for the day. As I shoot details with my back up shooter the other guy fly’s the drone for the aerial shots as establishing shots to set the mood. While my partner works on the initial edits by picking me the good shots from our random shoot and build the story from there.

I’m “A jack of all trades who’s interested in any photography, video/film productions or audio-related work that offers me intellectual and creative challenges, ehm like exposure to different people and places (I love traveling a lot, so you can send me to Afghanistan or wherever) I have a BIG room for professional growth. Boom! I’m a passionate story-teller and an experimental junkie. I’m not afraid to cross and break the boundaries of possible and impossible, I believe in a simple philosophy — “impossible can only be found in the foolish dictionary”.
